¡Viva España!

Hey guys! I'm finally back from Spain. Touched down at Singapore at approximately 8.32am yesterday. I only slept for 1 hour during the 15-hour flight. Yay me! The rest was movie-athon. Here's the list of movies I watched on the flight to Spain and back:
1) Mamma Mia!
2) Love Actually
3) Breakfast at Tiffany's (halfway)
4) Iron Man (Really good.)
5) The Dark Knight (Batman)
6) Angus, Thongs & Perfect Snogging (The twins really are hot.)
7) Get Smart

So on the flight to Milan, I was sitting next to this guy (a Spanish, I guess) who wore a cowboy hat and changed to baseball cap when he was sleeping. My cousins say he's probably a celeb. Haha. On the flight back, I was suppose to sit next to an Italian but I sat at an empty seat between my uncle and cousin instead. Duh, 13 hours next to one tall, big-sized guy is not my defination of comfortable.

Oh yeah!!! On the flight to Milan, there was this group of teenagers who was sitting at the next cabin. The boys are cute... Their curls are even cuter. :)))

Pictures. Lots & lots. But most on scenery. Some of them are from my camer but some of them are from my cousin's very bulky & professional Nikon camera. Spain is BEAUTIFUL! I'm gonna make like a photo journal so see the pics and read, okay?

Day 1 & 2: Barcelona
View of Barcelona from Montjuic Hill

The port of Barcelona

& a group of choral singers turned to stone.

Then off to the stadium which was used for certain events on the 1992 Olympic Games held in Barcelona.
On the bus ride to La Sagrada Familia, I met my Spanish boyfriend called Marc. Okay, I'm kidding about the boyfriend bit but not kidding about his/it's name. Look at the bottom of the statue. It's really Marc!
La Sagrada Familia which is still being built since 1882.

A smaller model found at a souvenir opposite the real thing.
I'm not sure about the name of this place but I think it is the Maremagnum. Half of the ball is really hanging off the building. It looks like it's gonna fall of any moment, doesn't it?
Eeeeeew! A box of (fake) giant ants!

After checking in to our apartment, some of us walked over to La Bouqeria market which sells really fresh and splendid things.

Eggs, my favourite. See if you can spot the big, black, fat things. They're ostrich eggs!

Mushrooms and veggies of every kind. Really fresh but be careful not to touch them, the shopkeeper will scold you!

Candy overload!!

The next day, we went to see the works of Gaudi.

Lots of tourists mulling around the area too.
It's in the district of
which is like their version of Orchard Road and obviously a shopping district. How convenient. :)

I present to you, the cutest-looking water-cooler ever:
Day 3: Peniscola & Valencia

The wind went crazy then and so did my hair.

After some sightseeing at Peniscola, we drove to Valencia.

Saw this statue at the roundabout to the hotel. Do you notice the heart on the book??

Modern Centre for Arts and Sciences. Really nice weather on that day. Love the different shades of blue on the sky.

On your left is one of the largest bullrings in Spain and on your right is the Town Hall Square. I saw a Chichuahua running in with the owner. So cute!
A fountain opposite the Cathedral. The buildings in Valencia are really pretty.

The Cathedral which we didn't enter cos it was really crowded.

Day 4: San Javier

The Roda Golf & Beach Resort we stayed in is really huge. I would say around 2 & a half times my school size. You need a map o go around the resort. Damn, I wish I was going there in the summer. Would be simply awesome! :D

Early morning view from my apartment:
Day 5: Granada

The view from our CityMar hotel. The view at night is really breathtaking. I love the houses that's ascending up the hill. Really cute!

The next morning, we woke up really early, at like 6am to go to the Alhambra Palace. There's too many pictures to upload so I'm not gonna upload all.

I think these means "There is no conquerer but Allah." & it can be found in every corner of the palace.

The courtyard. I know it doesn't look like it but it was very, very, very cold. Gloves and hat!

3D ceilings. Look like honeycomb. Really, really intricate and delicate designs.

Okay, I'm gonna continue more photos another post. Toodles!
Pay my respects to grace and virtue,
send my condolences to good.
Give my regards to soul and romance,
they always did the best they could.
