Bubble Pop Electric

Gwen Stefani's "Bubble Pop Electric" is so cute. The first time I heard it was when I downloaded her L.A.M.B. album into my iPod. She sounds really young when she talks. In the beginning. "Bubble Pop Elec-tric!"Anyway, I came back from KL yesterday afternoon after around 4 & a half hour in the car. It's okay cos I got the front seat after arguing with my mum and only when I said, "I've got longer legs than you!" did she give me the front seat.
It's the first time going back to KL and spending less than $50. I just bought 2 tank tops. That's all & I was given around RM300+ allowance/reward.
Got stuck on the way back from Pavillion cos my dad took the wrong turn. Spent around 1 & a half hour to 2 hours in the car cursing the bloody traffic light. I didn't go to the Marc by Marc Jacobs shop in Pavillion. & there was a freaking crazy sale going on in there. Grr.
On Sunday, we had a buffet lunch at Shangri-La which was dissapointing. Really. The food was so-so but the people who went there to eat was really... horrible. Let's see... The guy at the next table put his leg up on his chair while sticking a toothpick in his open mouth. One Ah-Ma was digging her nose and if she flicked her nose-shit, it would have landed on the dessert table. One more guy was talking about soccer super loudly. ("Aston Villa and Arsenal yesterday tie-tie ah? Wah, okayokay.") A woman stuck her filthy hands out and squeezed every single bread on the buffet table. How disgusting can these people get, seriously?!
Visited Twinkle & Jing Yi, something I haven't been able to do in the past few trips back. So that made the trip back pretty satisfactory, I guess. Oh yeah, Twinkle & I went to the playground & I finally sat on the swing after 5-6 years. It feels great to swing as high as possible. Really awesome.
2009 is just 2 day away. Un-believable. 2008 passed so damn fast, I could barely catch up.
Here's a list of things that made 2008 a pretty special year to me:
- I went to Europe twice! (Spain & Russia)
- I finally put on braces! (which hurt like crazy)
- I finally got an iPod! (a Nano-chromatic, no less :D )
- I scored an A1 for English during the year-end exams! (I am so not kidding here.)
- I spent a total of 57 and a half hours on air! (The longest ever)
- I finally sat on a swing again! (feels like flying)
- I performed with TK Choir in Esplanade! (Awesome place, really)
Heaven knows what will come next
So emotional, you're so complex
A rollercoaster built to crash
But I still love to have you around
