Yeeeeeeeeah! The year-end exams are finally over. Last school exam of the year. Yipeee!!! Let's do a jig. Lalalala. Right leg to the left, left leg to the right. Head bopping up and down arms swinging round & round!! Okay, I made that up & it rhymes.

Anyway, let's talk about reality.

- There's this crazy financial crisis now where everything is falling and all the banks are becoming bankrupt.

- Many workers are being cheated, especially workers from Bangladesh. Eg, there's this Bangladeshi guy who paid $8000 so that some guy here can get a work permit for him and then find a job for him. But when he came here, he had a work permit but no job. So he has no money, no job and no place to go. Like wth, these conmen have no heart, no conscience at all. I mean, how can they be willing to spend the money they cheated off somebody. I would never be able to do that.
- Electricity bills have been increased by 21%. So use less electricity now, to save money & to save the earth. Oh, and apparently, eating less meat can also help ease the problem of global warming.

Now back to my life.

You know that during the exam period, I was so desperate to distract myself from studying, I dug up all my piano scores and spent like a few hours in front of the piano. :O I also read the newspaper form cover to cover. Omg, I was crazy. & I kept my promise not to use the computer. Well, sort of. Ok, I did use it once or twice. But 10minutes doesn't count right?!

The 1st few days of exams were kinda rocky but the last few papers were okay, I guess. Usually, I will be rushing for all the other papers but I'll have plenty of time with my Chinese paper but ironically, I didn't have any time problem with the other papers but I was rushing like mad for the Chinese paper 2. The comprehension was horrible. It was about the difference between saying "Sorry" and "I apologize". Apparently, I apologize is more sincere and sorry isn't good unough. If I remembered correctly, AppleBanana said that she set this paper and bless her, she will never say "Sorry" even when she's wrong, let alone "I apologize"!

Oh yeah, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO ME! It was right smack in the middle of exams and I spent ¾ of the day studying bloody History. But dinner was nice. Buffet at Aquamarine. :D Damn it, I have a feeling that all my b’days from now on will be smack in the middle of the exam periods!

Yesterday marked the last day of exams. So me, Alicia, Aijing & Hui Xian went to Ngee Ann city. Somebody else by the name of RUTH was supposed to join but she decided that going home and beign a hermit was more fun than going out. Uuurgh.

Anyway, I managed to buy my swimsuit. Yeahyeahyeah!! After making 2 tripes to the swimsuit department and scouring for the suitable swimsuit from rack to rack. Finally found it on the 2nd trip there. 3 words to describe the swimsuit: red, halter-neck, pretty. Love it.

We had lunch at Coffee Club and I ordered some crêpe & mushroom thing which was so loaded with cheese, I nearly vomited. But the Muddy Mudcake was really good. I loved the chewy base. Yummy! Then we went to Zara cos Hui Xian wanted to look for formal clothes so I told her that Zara has nice clothes. & we saw a rack of formal blouse so she went to try it out.

Then for the funnest part, we went to Best Denki and started playing all the games there. The Apple store there is so freakign cool. I played around with the Nano-chromatic! Way cool, I want it but I can't have it cos the economy is collapsing blablabla. Then Hui Xian & I had absolute fun with the Mac! Lol, one mouse controlling two mac, one laptop and one PC. So I could drag YouTube from the laptop to the PC. Cooooool!! Aijing & I watched "Style by Jury" on 50 or so tv screens for a while but sadly, there wasn't any sound. :( Then I played the racing car thingy complete with the whole set of steering wheel and brakes. But the game sucks cos the steering wheel seemed to have a life on its own and the bloody BMW was so slow. And the funnest part was PLAYING GUITAR HERO ON XBOX!!!!!! Aijing totally trashed me but it was still crazy fun. Alicia wasn't bad too. Shucks, I wish there was the real guitar instead of just contolling with the normal XBox remote control.

Woke up really early this morning (7.25am!!!!!) to go to Mustafa to start shopping for the Spain trip. Yup, you read that right. My mum has started shopping for the Spain trip although it is aroung 1 month and 3 weeks away! And she said I was nervous for Russia, like hello! I don't remember packing adn shopping for the Russia trip 1 month & 3 weeks in advance. I only packed 4 days before th trip!

Anyway, I'm rather glad with what I bought at Mustafa. One white Puma windbreaker and Reebok track pants. The good thing about going early is that there's not many people there so you don't have to squeeze around and hold your breath that much. Anyway, the sports department there is massive! Oh, and I bought a reddish-coloured orthodontic brush. I've not seen it anywhere before. I've only seen turqoise which I've been using for ages.

Oh, and Stella dear, you're more than welcome to come to my house to play Guita Hero on my Wii if you bring the disc & the guitar! :DDDDDDDD Speaking of Wii, I have't touched it for a long, long time!
