The Beijing Olympics opening ceremony was superbly amazing. I loved the footprint- shaped fireworks that was set up all over the city and then led to the Bird Nest stadium. Before that the drumming was cool and super in-sync. There was alot more but I cannot remember. Oh yeah, there was the dancing cum painting on a giant scroll segment, the gigantic oar cum boat, the people singing on the globe. I watched till the Singapore team came out during the flag bearing ceremony then went to sleep cos it was super long and I was feeling so tired.

Yesterday was a very busy day for me. Cos I went out o lunch with my friends who came back to visit from Beijing. Then off to tuition and then to dinner with some freinds who came back from San Fransisco. They're so lucky that their summer holidays are sososo long.

I think my dad is gonna get me an iPod soon. But the big problem is downloading music. Cos you have to pay to download songs from iTunes. So that will be a huge headache.

Oh, &&& Krispy Kreme is going to open an outlet in Malaysia. Yesyesyes!! Finally. I'm going to try the donuts when I go back there. I wish they were opening an outlet in Singapore.

So back to the Olympics.
-Michael Phelps is one cool dude!!!! He swims damn fast and smashed quite a number of world records.
- Tao Li got into the 100m Butterfly Stroke finals and she finished 5th place there.
- Malaysia's Lee Chong Wei beat Ronaldo Susilo in badminton this morning.
- Chen Xiexia won Gold for the Clean & Jerk competition. & she was damndamn steady. She didn't even shake at all when she lifted the 100+kg weight.
- Ukraine beat Russia in the boxing competition today.
- China's men synchronisation diving is superb. It's like watching mirror images. They got mostly full marks I think.

Okay, I have to go now. I don't think 'll be posting soon cos Common Test is starting tomorrow. Wish me best of luck!

The most important thing in the Olympic Games is not winning but taking part; the essential thing in life is not conquering but fighting well. -Pierre de Coubertin
